1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains what information SparkScript AI (the "Service") collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. The Service is operated by the developer of SparkScript AI ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Service you agree to the practices described here.

2. Information we collect

• Content you enter. To generate content you provide inputs such as a topic, niche, audience or tone. These inputs are used only to produce your requested output.
• Generated drafts. Drafts are stored locally in your own browser (localStorage) and can be deleted by you at any time. We do not keep a copy of your drafts on our servers.
• Usage data. To protect the Service from abuse we keep lightweight records such as your IP address and a daily generation counter. These are used for rate limiting and security and are retained no longer than necessary.
• License claims. If you claim a Pro license key using the checkout email you provided, we process that email address solely to deliver and validate your license.
• Payment data. Purchases are processed by Creem, our merchant of record. We never see or store your card details; Creem's own privacy policy governs payment data.
• Bring-your-own-key (BYOK). If you connect your own API key, it is stored in your browser and sent only to the API endpoint you configure. It is not written to our servers.

3. How we use information

We use the information above to provide and operate the Service, generate requested content, enforce fair-use limits, prevent abuse, and respond to support requests. We do not sell your personal information and do not use it for advertising profiling.

4. Cookies and local storage

The Service does not use advertising cookies. We use browser local storage to remember your settings, generation history and license status on your device. You can clear this data at any time in your browser; doing so will remove locally stored drafts and settings.

5. Third-party services

To operate the Service we use a limited set of processors:

• AI model provider — receives the content you submit solely to generate your requested output (only when server-side AI is enabled; otherwise generation is local/offline).
• Creem — payment processing, subscription management and payouts.
• Hosting provider — serves the Service and stores operational logs.

6. International data transfers

The Service is hosted outside your country of residence. By using the Service, content you submit for generation may be processed by the AI model provider in another jurisdiction. We rely on providers that maintain appropriate safeguards for cross-border data processing.

7. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (including under the GDPR and similar laws), you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete personal information concerning you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Because most of your data lives in your own browser, you can delete it directly. For anything else, contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable time.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16 (or the applicable minimum age in your country) and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
